Oliver Naesen works out using E-Cycling

Oliver Naesen (29) is one of Belgium’s top cyclists. During the lockdown, he installed – as he calls it – a pain cave. Twice a week, he goes all in during an intensive workout routine. For this, he has turned his attic into a small gym. Oliver’s latest gadget is the E-Fit bicycle shorts called E-Cycling. These shorts include an abdominal belt that sends impulses to all muscles used for cycling.

He has recently converted his attic into a small gym. I paid an engineer to check whether the floor could support all that extra weight,” he says. He also chose to purchase E-Fit shorts in which electrodes are fitted that transmit electrical impulses. “The first time was pretty intense. My legs are fine but my abs are way too weak,” says Oliver.

Oliver Naesen works out in a very intense way, at full power using an extreme training routine. A normal person would never go to such extremes. But many cyclists, like Oliver, are known for training to the limit.
